I was thinking of updating to Mojave as an interim measure, to allow continued use of legacy apps. (Lightroom Classic, Photoshop, DxO Photo Lab 4, FCPX) All of these apps, except FCPX (10.5), can run in Mojave, which will also allow me to run some legacy apps that I still occasionally use. Also, I have apps that I routinely use that cannot be updated to their latest versions and run in High Sierra. Security updates for High Sierra ended in October. My home computer is a mid-2014 15-inch MBP running High Sierra.
